Jalisqueñas FC

Jalisqueñas FC was one of 25 clubs from Mexico that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Jalisqueñas FC, 79 other teams from 14 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 20 different groups, whereof Jalisqueñas FC could be found in Group 12 together with Sarpsborg 08 FF, Landvetter IF and FH 1. Jalisqueñas FC continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 12. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Peamount United FC with 1-2. In the Final, Hammarby IF won over Iconz Elite and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 14. Jalisqueñas FC comes from Mexico which lies approximately 9400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Mexico does also provide 22 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (Among others: Evolution Futbol Academy, CF Interclubes Mexico, Rayados Tecamachalco, Real Sociedad Chihuahua, Seleccion Edo. de Mex, Nido Valle Dorado, Atletico Echegaray, IFAC, Atletico Real Morelos and Tec. de Monterrey).
