FC Union Canada

FC Union Canada was one of 8 clubs from Canada that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to FC Union Canada, 181 other teams from 28 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 45 different groups, whereof FC Union Canada could be found in Group 16 together with Enskede IK, Suwannaphum FC and IF Lödde. FC Union Canada continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 16. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against NorCal Premier PDP with 0-3. In the Final, NorCal Premier PDP won over Stjarnan 1 and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 16. FC Union Canada comes from Laval which lies approximately 5600 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Laval does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (First Mobile Sports Academy and Valencia CF Academy Canada).
