TSV Sasel

TSV Sasel was one of 58 clubs from Germany that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to TSV Sasel, 181 other teams from 28 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 45 different groups, whereof TSV Sasel could be found in Group 41 together with Stars'n Stripes, Saltsjöbadens IF and Partille IF. TSV Sasel continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 41. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Dalen KFF with 0-6. In the Final, Suwannaphum FC won over Rælingen FK 1 and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. Sasel comes from Hamburg which lies approximately 470 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Hamburg does also provide 15 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (Among others: FC Nordic Tigers e.V., FC Teutonia 05, SC RÖNNAU 74, SC Alstertal-Langenhorn, FC Süderelbe, FC Alsterbrüder, SG Quickborn, Blau-Weiß 96 Schenefeld, SC Nienstedten and TSV Brunsbrock).
