In addition to Västerås SK Fotboll, 15 other teams from 8 different countries played in Gothia Puma Trophy (G17). They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Västerås SK Fotboll could be found in Group 2 together with NorCal Premier PDP, IFK Göteborg and FH. Västerås SK Fotboll continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Älvsjö AIK FF with 1-2. In the Final, Älvsjö AIK FF won over IFK Göteborg and became the winner of Play off B in Gothia Puma Trophy (G17).
