Delaware FC

Delaware FC was one of 54 clubs from USA that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Delaware FC, 79 other teams from 15 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 20 different groups, whereof Delaware FC could be found in Group 5 together with Utbynäs SK, Peamount United FC and HK 1. Delaware FC continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Iconz Elite with 0-1. In the Final, Hammarby IF won over Iconz Elite and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 14. Delaware FC comes from USA which lies approximately 7500 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around USA does also provide 11 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (Among others: Sala, C2 United, Kensington Soccer Club, FC Carolina, SYC, Virginia Victory, VA United, Alliance Futbol Club, Lonestars SC and Fox Academy).
