Linero IF

Linero IF was one of 419 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Boys 14B. In addition to Linero IF, 56 other teams from 13 different countries played in Boys 14B. They were divided into 14 different groups, whereof Linero IF could be found in Group 9 together with La Academia FC, Sveakurd FF, AIK FF 2 and Hisingsbacka FC. Linero IF continued to Play off B after reaching 5:th place in Group 9. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Järla IF with 10-11. In the Final, IFK Fjärås won over Barkarö SK and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 14B. Linero comes from Lund which lies approximately 240 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Lund does also provide 31 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (Among others: BK Höllviken, Lunds FF, Hörby FF, BK Flagg, Skurups AIF, Lunds BoiS, Kävlinge Harrie FF, Bjärreds IF, AC Trelleborg and Landskrona BoIS).
