Makedonikos FC was one of five clubs from Greece that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Makedonikos FC, 181 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 45 different groups, whereof Makedonikos FC could be found in Group 17 together with Essviks AIF, Cuyahoga Valley Soccer Academy and Tidaholms GIF. Makedonikos FC continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 17. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against BK Olympic with 2-5. In the Final, NorCal Premier PDP won over Stjarnan 1 and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 16. Makedonikos FC comes from THESSALONIKI which lies approximately 2100 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
