Gruner Fotball

Gruner Fotball was one of 45 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Gruner Fotball, 189 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 47 different groups, whereof Gruner Fotball could be found in Group 6 together with Spånga IS FK 2, CD Inter Vista Alegre 2 and Öjersjö IF/ Björndammen. Gruner Fotball continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Throttur, FC 1 with 1-4. In the Final, Throttur, FC 1 won over Bara GIF Svart and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 14. Gruner Fotball comes from Oslo which lies approximately 250 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Oslo does also provide 16 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (Among others: Rælingen FK, Nittedal IL, Kolbotn IL, Lille Tøyen FK, Oppsal IF, FK Fjellhamar, Lyn Fotball, Stabæk Fotball, Årvoll and Kjelsås IL).
