Runda Youth Sports Association (RYSA)

Runda Youth Sports Association (RYSA) was one of three clubs from Kenya that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Girls 17. In addition to Runda Youth Sports Association (RYSA), 60 other teams from 8 different countries played in Girls 17. They were divided into 15 different groups, whereof Runda Youth Sports Association (RYSA) could be found in Group 14 together with IFK Östersund, Ski IL and Alingsås KIK. Runda Youth Sports Association (RYSA) continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 14. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Eastshore Alliance with 0-1. In the Final, Eskilsminne IF won over Randesund IL and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 17. Runda Youth Sports Association (RYSA) comes from NAIROBI which lies approximately 6900 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around NAIROBI does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (Legacy Academy and Diamond FC).
