Edet FK

Edet FK was one of 419 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to Edet FK, 83 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 20 different groups, whereof Edet FK could be found in Group 13 together with Mädchen Auswahl Tirol, QBIK and IFK Aspudden-Tellus. Edet FK continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 13. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Arameisk-Syrianska KIF with 0-1. In the Final, KFV Segeberg won over IFK Viksjö and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 16. Edet FK comes from Lilla Edet which lies approximately 37 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Lilla Edet does also provide 44 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (Among others: IFK Göteborg, Orust FC, Hermansby IF, Skoftebyns IF, Vänersborgs FK, Grunden Bois, Ale United, Kärra KIF, Halvorstorps IS and Lerums IS).
