Umedalens IF

Umedalens IF was one of 419 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Umedalens IF, 129 other teams from 14 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 32 different groups, whereof Umedalens IF could be found in Group 12 together with Altona 93, SG Ruddalen IF and SigtunaMärsta United FK. Umedalens IF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 12. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Sarpsborg 08 FF with 3-4. In the Final, Ap Orlen Gdansk won over Askims IK and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 15. Umedalens comes from Umeå which lies approximately 810 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Umeå does also provide 8 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (Tegs SK, IFK Umeå, Mariehem SK, Sandåkerns SK, Gimonäs Umeå IF, Umeå IK FF, Umeå Södra FF and Ersboda SK).
