IF Eker

IF Eker was one of 419 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to IF Eker, 82 other teams from 16 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 20 different groups, whereof IF Eker could be found in Group 9 together with Stenungsunds IF, Arsmon Football Club 2 and First Mobile Sports Academy. IF Eker continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 9. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against V. Frölunda IF with 1-3. In the Final, Vita Youth 3 won over FC Black Stars Basel and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 18. Eker comes from Ör which lies approximately 250 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Ör does also provide six additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (Karlslunds IF FK, IF Eker Örebro, IFK Kumla, Örebro Syrianska IF, BK Forward and Örebro SK).
