U. de Chile

U. de Chile was one of 25 clubs from Mexico that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to U. de Chile, 129 other teams from 14 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 32 different groups, whereof U. de Chile could be found in Group 4 together with Midlands Independent Schools Lionesses Lionesses, Tidaholms GIF and Enebybergs IF. U. de Chile continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against IF Limhamn/Bunkeflo 1 with 0-1. In the Final, Ap Orlen Gdansk won over Askims IK and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 15. U. de Chile comes from MEXICO which lies approximately 9400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around MEXICO does also provide 22 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (Among others: Evolution Futbol Academy, CF Interclubes Mexico, Rayados Tecamachalco, Real Sociedad Chihuahua, Seleccion Edo. de Mex, Nido Valle Dorado, Atletico Echegaray, IFAC, Atletico Real Morelos and Tec. de Monterrey).
