BK-46

BK-46 was one of four clubs from Finland that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to BK-46, 129 other teams from 13 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 32 different groups, whereof BK-46 could be found in Group 29 together with Tomelilla IF, Stuvsta IF 1 and Vårgårda IK. BK-46 continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 29. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Sunnanå SK with 0-5. In the Final, Ap Orlen Gdansk won over Askims IK and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 15. BK-46 comes from Karis which lies approximately 720 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than BK-46, the club Ekenäs IF does also originate from the area around Karis.
