FC Norrsken

FC Norrsken was one of 419 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to FC Norrsken, 129 other teams from 14 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 32 different groups, whereof FC Norrsken could be found in Group 16 together with Gustafs GoIF, IF Brommapojkarna and Cervantes Bosque 2. FC Norrsken continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 16. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Sollentuna FK 2 with 1-3. In the Final, Ap Orlen Gdansk won over Askims IK and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 15. FC Norrsken comes from Piteå which lies approximately 990 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Piteå does also provide 9 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (Alviks IK, IFK Luleå, Storfors AIK, Bergnäsets AIK, Sunderby SK, Piteå IF, Södra United IF, Sunderby SK/ Gammelstads IF and IBFF/ÖIF).
