Rågsveds IF

Rågsveds IF was one of 419 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to Rågsveds IF, 175 other teams from 22 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 43 different groups, whereof Rågsveds IF could be found in Group 2 together with Intercups MX, Beirut Football Academy and IFK Göteborg. Rågsveds IF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Lillestrøm SK 1 with 1-2. In the Final, Halmstads BK won over Qviding FIF 1 and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 13. Rågsveds IF also participated in Boys 12 during Gothia Cup 2023. They reached the 1/8 Final in B12 Play off A, but lost it against AFC Järfälla with 1-9. Rågsveds comes from Stockholm which lies approximately 390 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Stockholm does also provide 73 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (Among others: Örby IS/Söder United, Stockholm Södra Fotboll, Stureby FF, Ursvik IK, Essinge IK, IK Frej Täby, Djurgårdens IF, Knarrbacken FC, IFK Aspudden-Tellus and IFK Stocksund).
