IK Franke

IK Franke was one of 419 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Boys 17. In addition to IK Franke, 110 other teams from 23 different countries played in Boys 17. They were divided into 27 different groups, whereof IK Franke could be found in Group 16 together with IK Sirius FK, NTSV Strand 08 2 and Grand Ouest Élite 47. IK Franke made it to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 16. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Ljungskile SK/Groheds IF with 2-4. Thereby IK Franke finished second in B17 Play off B during Gothia Cup 2024. IK Franke also participated in Boys 16 during Gothia Cup 2023. They reached the Semi final in B16 Play off B, but lost it against Russell Martin Academy with 0-1. Franke comes from Västerås which lies approximately 330 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Västerås does also provide 15 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (Among others: Barkarö SK, IK Viljan, Västerås SK Ungdom, Munktorps BK, Västerås IK, Skiljebo SK, Enköpings SK, IFK Eskilstuna, Eskilstuna City FK and Jäders IF).
