Oppsal IF

Oppsal IF was one of 45 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Oppsal IF, 189 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 47 different groups, whereof Oppsal IF could be found in Group 21 together with FH 4, California Magic SC East, Sundbybergs IK and IFK Göteborg. Oppsal IF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 21. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against FC Trelleborg 2 with 0-3. In the Final, CD Mercedarios won over MUKP Dabrowa Gornicza and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 14. Oppsal comes from Oslo which lies approximately 250 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Oslo does also provide 16 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (Among others: Rælingen FK, Nittedal IL, Kolbotn IL, Lille Tøyen FK, FK Fjellhamar, Lyn Fotball, Stabæk Fotball, Årvoll, Gruner Fotball and Kjelsås IL).
