Jönköpings Södra IF

Jönköpings Södra IF was one of 419 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Girls 17. In addition to Jönköpings Södra IF, 60 other teams from 9 different countries played in Girls 17. They were divided into 15 different groups, whereof Jönköpings Södra IF could be found in Group 10 together with SC Borgfeld eV, Norrstrands IF and IFK Örby. Jönköpings Södra IF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 10. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Jitex BK with 1-2. In the Final, NorCal Premier PDP won over Jitex BK and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 17. Jönköpings Södra comes from Jönköping which lies approximately 130 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Jönköping does also provide 9 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (Mariebo IK/Haga, Ekhagens IF, Nässjö FF, Mullsjö IF, Mariebo IK, Hovslätts IK, Husqvarna FF, Tenhults IF and Norrahammars IK).
