Selånger SK

Selånger SK was one of 419 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Selånger SK, 129 other teams from 14 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 32 different groups, whereof Selånger SK could be found in Group 13 together with Cervantes Bosque 1, Ekerö IK 2 and Nässjö FF. Selånger SK continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 13. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Skiljebo SK with 0-1. In the Final, Dallas Texans Soccer Club won over Iconz Elite and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 15. Selånger SK comes from Sundsvall which lies approximately 600 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Sundsvall does also provide six additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (IFK Timrå, Sundsvalls FF, Matfors IF, Sidsjö-Böle IF, Essviks AIF and GIF Sundsvall).
