Jäders IF

Jäders IF was one of 419 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Boys 17. In addition to Jäders IF, 110 other teams from 23 different countries played in Boys 17. They were divided into 27 different groups, whereof Jäders IF could be found in Group 8 together with Örby IS/Söder United, JFV Lüneburg and CF Interclubes Mexico. Jäders IF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 8. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against PEFC with 0-3. In the Final, Ljungskile SK/Groheds IF won over IK Franke and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 17. Jäders IF also participated in Boys 16 during Gothia Cup 2023. They reached the 1/16 Final in B16 Play off B, but lost it against Ursvik IK with 1-2. Jäders comes from Eskilstuna which lies approximately 330 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Eskilstuna does also provide 13 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (Among others: Barkarö SK, IK Viljan, Västerås SK Ungdom, Munktorps BK, Västerås IK, Skiljebo SK, Enköpings SK, IFK Eskilstuna, Eskilstuna City FK and Västerås SK Fotboll).
