Barca Academy Dubai

Barca Academy Dubai was one of 9 clubs from United Arab Emirates that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Barca Academy Dubai, 253 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 63 different groups, whereof Barca Academy Dubai could be found in Group 43 together with Nybro IF, Kramfors-Alliansen and HamKam Fotball. Barca Academy Dubai made it to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 43. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against Vasalunds IF, which they won with 6-5. Thereby Barca Academy Dubai won the entire Play off B in Boys 15 during Gothia Cup 2024. Barca Academy Dubai also participated in Boys 14 during Gothia Cup 2023. They reached the 1/32 Final in B14 Play off A, but lost it against Schulz Coaching Panthers with 0-1. Barca Academy Dubai comes from Dubai which lies approximately 5000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Dubai does also provide six additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (Empire FC, HITS, Azul FC, Desert Falcon FC, Go-Pro Sports and Desert Rangers Dubai).
