Despertar SC Beja

Despertar SC Beja was one of 11 clubs from Portugal that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Boys 12. In addition to Despertar SC Beja, 123 other teams from 29 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 30 different groups, whereof Despertar SC Beja could be found in Group 23 together with IFK Göteborg, Go-Pro Sports and TSV Brunsbrock. Despertar SC Beja continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 23. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Lerums IS 2 with 1-2. In the Final, Fútból Consultants Edson Soto won over Vicente del Bosque Academy Orange and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 12. Despertar Beja comes from Beja which lies approximately 2600 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
