Spjutstorps IF

Spjutstorps IF was one of 419 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Spjutstorps IF, 181 other teams from 28 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 45 different groups, whereof Spjutstorps IF could be found in Group 6 together with SV Rugenbergen, Lørenskog IF 1 and Boo SK. Spjutstorps IF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Rælingen FK 1 with 0-8. In the Final, Suwannaphum FC won over Rælingen FK 1 and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. Spjutstorps comes from Tomelilla which lies approximately 270 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Tomelilla does also provide three additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (Hörby FF, Skurups AIF and Tomelilla IF).
