Borgeby FK

Borgeby FK was one of 419 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Girls 14B. In addition to Borgeby FK, 25 other teams from 5 different countries played in Girls 14B. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof Borgeby FK could be found in Group 5 together with IK Sirius FK, Walddörfer SV and Djurgårdens IF 1. Borgeby FK made it to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 5. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against Enskede IK, which they won with 7-5. Thereby Borgeby FK won the entire Play off A in Girls 14B during Gothia Cup 2024. Borgeby FK comes from Bjärred which lies approximately 230 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Bjärred does also provide 30 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (Among others: BK Höllviken, Lunds FF, BK Flagg, Lunds BoiS, Kävlinge Harrie FF, Bjärreds IF, AC Trelleborg, Landskrona BoIS, IF Limhamn/Bunkeflo and Trollenäs IF).
