Sandsbro AIK

Sandsbro AIK was one of 419 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Sandsbro AIK, 253 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 63 different groups, whereof Sandsbro AIK could be found in Group 17 together with IBFF/ÖIF, European Football Academy and Entente Osten Luxembourg. Sandsbro AIK continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 17. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Hipica Campinas with 0-1. In the Final, Barca Academy Dubai won over Vasalunds IF and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. Sandsbro AIK comes from Växjö which lies approximately 200 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Växjö does also provide four additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (Växjö DFF, Hovmantorp GoIF, Lammhult, IFK and Östers IF).
