IFK Kumla

IFK Kumla was one of 419 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Girls 17. In addition to IFK Kumla, 60 other teams from 9 different countries played in Girls 17. They were divided into 15 different groups, whereof IFK Kumla could be found in Group 5 together with This Girl Kicks, IK Junkeren and Enskede IK. IFK Kumla continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against OGC Nice with 0-4. In the Final, NorCal Premier PDP won over Jitex BK and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 17. IFK Kumla also participated in Girls 16 during Gothia Cup 2023. They reached the 1/8 Final in G16 Play off A, but lost it against NJ14 Soccer Club with 1-2. IFK Kumla comes from Kumla which lies approximately 240 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Kumla does also provide 7 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (Askersund, IFK, Karlslunds IF FK, IF Eker Örebro, Örebro Syrianska IF, BK Forward, IF Eker and Örebro SK).
