Newroz Fc

Newroz Fc was one of 419 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Boys 14B. In addition to Newroz Fc, 56 other teams from 13 different countries played in Boys 14B. They were divided into 14 different groups, whereof Newroz Fc could be found in Group 8 together with SFK Rotalis, Essinge IK and AIK FF 1. Newroz Fc continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 8. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against AIK FF 2 with 1-4. In the Final, IFK Fjärås won over Barkarö SK and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 14B. Newroz Fc comes from Bredäng which lies approximately 390 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Bredäng does also provide 75 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (Among others: Örby IS/Söder United, Stockholm Södra Fotboll, Stureby FF, Ursvik IK, Essinge IK, IK Frej Täby, Djurgårdens IF, Knarrbacken FC, IFK Aspudden-Tellus and IFK Stocksund).
