Rinkeby United FC

Rinkeby United FC was one of 419 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to Rinkeby United FC, 175 other teams from 22 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 43 different groups, whereof Rinkeby United FC could be found in Group 32 together with Allerums GIF, BK Häcken 1, Azul FC and Apollon Halandriou 1. Rinkeby United FC continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 32. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Utsiktens BK with 0-1. In the Final, Makati FC won over Utsiktens BK and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 13. Rinkeby United FC comes from Stockholm which lies approximately 390 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Stockholm does also provide 75 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (Among others: Örby IS/Söder United, Stockholm Södra Fotboll, Stureby FF, Ursvik IK, Essinge IK, IK Frej Täby, Djurgårdens IF, Knarrbacken FC, IFK Aspudden-Tellus and IFK Stocksund).
