Sköndals IK

Sköndals IK was one of 419 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Sköndals IK, 79 other teams from 15 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 20 different groups, whereof Sköndals IK could be found in Group 3 together with FUT FEM STARS, Rælingen FK and Throttur, FC 2. Sköndals IK continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against IK Sirius FK with 0-1. In the Final, Breidablik 1 won over KFV Segeberg and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 14. Sköndals comes from Sköndal which lies approximately 400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Sköndal does also provide 73 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (Among others: Örby IS/Söder United, Stockholm Södra Fotboll, Stureby FF, Ursvik IK, Essinge IK, IK Frej Täby, Djurgårdens IF, Knarrbacken FC, IFK Aspudden-Tellus and IFK Stocksund).
