Fløya IF

Fløya IF was one of 45 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Fløya IF, 253 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 63 different groups, whereof Fløya IF could be found in Group 11 together with IFÖ Bromölla IF, Club Municipal de Casablanca and Hammarby IF 2. Fløya IF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 11. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Randesund IL 1 with 0-4. In the Final, Barca Academy Dubai won over Vasalunds IF and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. Fløya comes from Tromsø which lies approximately 1400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than Fløya IF, the club Tromsdalen UIL does also originate from the area around Tromsø.
