In addition to Empire FC, 110 other teams from 22 different countries played in Boys 17. They were divided into 27 different groups, whereof Empire FC could be found in Group 25 together with Stensätra IF, Västerås IK 1 and TSV Brunsbrock. Empire FC continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 25. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against AFC Eskilstuna with 1-4. In the Final, AFC Eskilstuna won over Swindon Town FITC Red and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 17. Empire FC also participated in Boys 16 during Gothia Cup 2023. They reached the 1/64 Final in B16 Play off B, but lost it against Linghems SK with 5-6.
