Bergnäsets AIK

Bergnäsets AIK was one of 419 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Bergnäsets AIK, 129 other teams from 14 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 32 different groups, whereof Bergnäsets AIK could be found in Group 31 together with Norrala IF, Kings Hill and Trosa-Vagnhärad SK. Bergnäsets AIK continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 31. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Alingsås KIK with 1-4. In the Final, Dallas Texans Soccer Club won over Iconz Elite and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 15. Bergnäsets AIK comes from Luleå which lies approximately 1000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Luleå does also provide six additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (Alviks IK, IFK Luleå, Luleå SK, Sunderby SK, FC Norrsken and Sunderby SK/ Gammelstads IF).
