Ekenäs IF

Ekenäs IF was one of four clubs from Finland that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Ekenäs IF, 79 other teams from 15 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 20 different groups, whereof Ekenäs IF could be found in Group 20 together with Stureby FF, Charlottenlund SK and IFK Värnamo. Ekenäs IF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 20. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Altona 93 2 with 0-2. In the Final, Breidablik 1 won over KFV Segeberg and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 14. Ekenäs comes from Ekenäs which lies approximately 710 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than Ekenäs IF, the club BK-46 does also originate from the area around Ekenäs.
