IFK Timrå

IFK Timrå was one of 419 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to IFK Timrå, 129 other teams from 14 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 32 different groups, whereof IFK Timrå could be found in Group 22 together with Skeid, SOCA and Ösmo GIF FK. IFK Timrå continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 22. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Tyresö FF with 0-2. In the Final, Ap Orlen Gdansk won over Askims IK and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 15. IFK Timrå comes from Sörberge which lies approximately 610 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Sörberge does also provide 7 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (BIK Fotboll, Sundsvalls FF, Matfors IF, Selånger SK, Sidsjö-Böle IF, Essviks AIF and GIF Sundsvall).
