Höörs IS

Höörs IS was one of 419 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Höörs IS, 181 other teams from 28 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 45 different groups, whereof Höörs IS could be found in Group 30 together with Ale United, St Francis and Midland Independent Schools. Höörs IS continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 30. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Fana Fotball with 1-4. In the Final, NorCal Premier PDP won over Stjarnan 1 and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 16. Höörs IS also participated in Boys 15 during Gothia Cup 2023. They reached the 1/8 Final in B15 Play off B, but lost it against IFK Stocksund 1 with 1-3. Höörs IS comes from Höör which lies approximately 220 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Höör does also provide 9 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (Lunds FF, FC Hessleholm, Hörby FF, Lunds BoiS, Kävlinge Harrie FF, Trollenäs IF, Torns IF, Lunds BK and Linero IF).
