SG Quickborn

SG Quickborn was one of 58 clubs from Germany that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to SG Quickborn, 181 other teams from 28 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 45 different groups, whereof SG Quickborn could be found in Group 33 together with Nacka FC, Azul FC and Hisingsbacka FC. SG Quickborn continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 33. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Prep Schools District with 0-2. In the Final, NorCal Premier PDP won over Stjarnan 1 and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 16. SG Quickborn comes from Quickborn which lies approximately 460 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Quickborn does also provide 14 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (Among others: FC Nordic Tigers e.V., FC Teutonia 05, SC RÖNNAU 74, FC Süderelbe, SC Alstertal-Langenhorn, FC Alsterbrüder, Blau-Weiß 96 Schenefeld, SC Nienstedten, JFV Südholstein and KFV Segeberg).
