Markaryds IF

Markaryds IF was one of 419 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to Markaryds IF, 175 other teams from 22 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 43 different groups, whereof Markaryds IF could be found in Group 26 together with Apollon Halandriou 2, Utsiktens BK and Prep School Panthers. Markaryds IF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 26. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Prep School Lions Sky with 2-4. In the Final, Halmstads BK won over Qviding FIF 1 and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 13. Markaryds comes from Mar which lies approximately 170 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Mar does also provide three additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (IFK Osby, FC Hessleholm and Älmhults IF).
