Kolbotn IL

Kolbotn IL was one of 45 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Kolbotn IL, 79 other teams from 15 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 20 different groups, whereof Kolbotn IL could be found in Group 1 together with Makati FC, Järla IF and Älvsborg FF. Kolbotn IL continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Hammarby IF with 1-4. In the Final, Hammarby IF won over Iconz Elite and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 14. Kolbotn comes from SOfiemyr which lies approximately 240 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around SOfiemyr does also provide 16 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (Among others: Rælingen FK, Nittedal IL, Lille Tøyen FK, Oppsal IF, FK Fjellhamar, Lyn Fotball, Stabæk Fotball, Årvoll, Gruner Fotball and Kjelsås IL).
