Newbridge Town FC

Newbridge Town FC was one of four clubs from the Republic of Ireland that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Newbridge Town FC, 181 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 45 different groups, whereof Newbridge Town FC could be found in Group 37 together with Randesund IL 1, Serbiska KIF Semberija and HK 3. Newbridge Town FC continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 37. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Vancouver Island with 0-1. In the Final, NorCal Premier PDP won over Stjarnan 1 and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 16. Newbridge Town FC comes from Newbridge Town FC which lies approximately 1300 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than Newbridge Town FC, the club Peamount United FC does also originate from the area around Newbridge Town FC.
