IFK Hjo

IFK Hjo was one of 419 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to IFK Hjo, 189 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 47 different groups, whereof IFK Hjo could be found in Group 11 together with Prep School Lions Red, PEFC and Breidablik 1. IFK Hjo continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 11. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Eskilsminne IF 2 with 0-2. In the Final, Throttur, FC 1 won over Bara GIF Svart and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 14. IFK Hjo comes from Hjo which lies approximately 150 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Hjo does also provide 9 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (Tidaholms GIF, BK Trix, Skövde AIK, Ulvåkers IF/Värings GoIF, Skultorps IF, IFK Skövde, IFK Tidaholm/Ekedalens SK, Ulvåkers IF and IFK Skövde FK).
