Torp GoIF

Torp GoIF was one of 419 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Torp GoIF, 82 other teams from 16 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 20 different groups, whereof Torp GoIF could be found in Group 5 together with PIONEROS CANCUN FB, Stars'n Stripes and Midland Independent Schools. Torp GoIF continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Arsmon Football Club 1 with 0-5. In the Final, FK Lillehammer won over Jusball FC and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 18. Torp GoIF comes from Henån which lies approximately 56 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Henån does also provide 12 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (Among others: Orust FC, Skoftebyns IF, Ale United, Edet FK, Stenungsunds IF, IFK Uddevalla, Skärhamns IK, Vallens IF, Groheds IF/Ljungskile SK and Ljungskile SK/Groheds IF).
