Owatonna FC

Owatonna FC was one of 54 clubs from USA that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to Owatonna FC, 83 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 20 different groups, whereof Owatonna FC could be found in Group 17 together with Kungsbacka IF, Randesund IL 2 and Tallboda IF 2. Owatonna FC continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 17. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Åsa IF with 0-3. In the Final, KFV Segeberg won over IFK Viksjö and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 16. Owatonna FC comes from Owatonna which lies approximately 6800 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
