Växjö DFF

Växjö DFF was one of 419 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Växjö DFF, 129 other teams from 14 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 32 different groups, whereof Växjö DFF could be found in Group 5 together with Gefle IF, Throttur, FC and Nidelv IL. Växjö DFF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Älvsjö AIK FF 1 with 0-1. In the Final, Dallas Texans Soccer Club won over Iconz Elite and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 15. Växjö DFF comes from Växjö which lies approximately 200 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Växjö does also provide four additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (Sandsbro AIK, Hovmantorp GoIF, Lammhult, IFK and Östers IF).
