Hovslätts IK

Hovslätts IK was one of 419 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Hovslätts IK, 189 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 47 different groups, whereof Hovslätts IK could be found in Group 2 together with Atletico Real Morelos, Foxes FC and Lørenskog IF. Hovslätts IK continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Reymersholms FF with 0-4. In the Final, Throttur, FC 1 won over Bara GIF Svart and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 14. Hovslätts comes from Jönköping which lies approximately 130 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Jönköping does also provide 9 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (Mariebo IK/Haga, Ekhagens IF, Nässjö FF, Mullsjö IF, Mariebo IK, Husqvarna FF, Tenhults IF, Norrahammars IK and Jönköpings Södra IF).
