Askersund, IFK

Askersund, IFK was one of 419 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to Askersund, IFK, 175 other teams from 22 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 43 different groups, whereof Askersund, IFK could be found in Group 33 together with SG Findorff, Vasalunds IF P11A2 and Skeid 1. Askersund, IFK continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 33. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Apollon Halandriou 2 with 1-4. In the Final, Halmstads BK won over Qviding FIF 1 and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 13. Askersund, IFK comes from Askersund which lies approximately 220 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
