SSV Strümp

SSV Strümp was one of 58 clubs from Germany that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Boys 12. In addition to SSV Strümp, 123 other teams from 29 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 30 different groups, whereof SSV Strümp could be found in Group 30 together with Angered MBIK, Kungsbacka IF 2 and Nyköpings BIS. SSV Strümp continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 30. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against IF Brommapojkarna 12-99 with 0-8. In the Final, Fútból Consultants Edson Soto won over Vicente del Bosque Academy Orange and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 12. Strümp comes from Meerbusch which lies approximately 790 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than SSV Strümp, the club ASV Süchteln does also originate from the area around Meerbusch.
