GVO Oldenburg

GVO Oldenburg was one of 58 clubs from Germany that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to GVO Oldenburg, 129 other teams from 14 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 32 different groups, whereof GVO Oldenburg could be found in Group 26 together with Smedby AIS, Morön BK and Ulricehamns IFK. GVO Oldenburg continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 26. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Onsala BK with 1-2. In the Final, Dallas Texans Soccer Club won over Iconz Elite and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 15. GVO Oldenburg comes from Oldenburg which lies approximately 560 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
