ASV Süchteln

ASV Süchteln was one of 58 clubs from Germany that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Boys 12. In addition to ASV Süchteln, 123 other teams from 29 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 30 different groups, whereof ASV Süchteln could be found in Group 29 together with Kungsbacka IF 1, MSL FA and Skeppshult BK. ASV Süchteln continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 29. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against IFK Göteborg with 0-8. In the Final, Fútból Consultants Edson Soto won over Vicente del Bosque Academy Orange and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 12. ASV Süchteln comes from Viersen which lies approximately 800 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than ASV Süchteln, the club SSV Strümp does also originate from the area around Viersen.
