Lundby IF

Lundby IF was one of 419 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Lundby IF, 253 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 63 different groups, whereof Lundby IF could be found in Group 35 together with Dionysos, Vejby IF 2 and Live your world cup. Lundby IF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 35. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Fylkir with 0-1. In the Final, Barca Academy Dubai won over Vasalunds IF and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. Lundby originates from Göteborg, which is the same city as where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Göteborg does also provide 74 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (Among others: IFK Hindås, RCD Espanyol Academy Göteborg, Öjersjö IF/ Björndammen, Mölnlycke IF, Särö Kullavik IF, Tölö IF, Lindome GIF, IFK Göteborg, IF Warta and Öckerö IF).
